I'm not getting e-mail updates about the race what do i do?
    Some times our e-mail updates get lost in your junk or spam filters so if you are not getting our race day updates please check your spam filter or junk box.  Also go to active and make sure they have your most recent working e-mail address.


If I am not running can I participate by being a volunteer?
 

     YES...Volunteers are greatly appreciated and needed!  Give us a call at 805-258-3779 or e-mail us at bill@elitesportsCA.com.  Please visit the Volunteer Info link on this site to get all the information needed on being a volunteer. 
 

Is there a time limit to finish the Marathon? 
    Yes:
full marathon time limit to finish is 7:00 hours

Race results will be posted as follows:
5k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 8:15 a.m ish
10k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 8:30 a.m. ish
 
Half Marathon - 9:30 ish

Is there a refund policy for this race?
     Sorry but no...there are no refunds!  But you can defer your entry to another one of our races in the future.  Checkout our link to Our Other Events page to see what is available throughout 2017.  If you choose a race with a higher entry fee, you will be required to pay the difference.  When you choose another race you would like to do just email us and we will get you set for that race.

Can I register for the race at the packet pick-up location? 
     YES...There are NO Discounts  at expo registration  cash or credit card only - NO CHECKS. You can also register on line or by sending in the registration form.  The on line registration closes Friday January 7, 2017 at midnight .  There is no race day registration.

When and where is and what is package pickup?
Location TBA soon: 
This is where you pickup your race bib #, timing chip, race day t-shirt, and goody bag. You can also review the race course map and ask race day related questions that you might have. This is your last chance to register for this race.... NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Can I pick up my race packet and chip on race day??
     YES...you can pick up your race packet and chip on race day at the race day expo,
but we advise you to come early!!  There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time.  We advise you to go to the packet pick-up Saturday before race day instead.  Last minute check in on race day begins at 5:45 a.m. and ends at 6:45 a.m.  There is NO race day registration

Race day expo:
    we will have a race day expo with several vendors ready to help you with your race day needs and race day goodies. 

Can I pick up someone else's race items if they can not make it out on Saturday?
     YES
...you can pick up a friend or relatives items.  Bring something in writing from them that say you can do that.


Starting Line Location and parking?
Pleasant Valley Fields park (East side of park)
Corner of Village at the park DR / Petit ST
Camarillo, CA 93012

More parking at:
150 Westpark Ct Camarillo CA 93012   West side of park ( about 300 yards from start line)

Directions:
Heading South bound 101 exit at  Dawson Dr, onto Village At The Park Dr and follow the road all the way around the park to the East side of the park at the corner of Village At The Park Dr / Petit Rd

Heading North bound on 101 exit at Santa Rosa Rd, turn left onto Pleasant Valley Rd, turn right at  Bridgehampton way, turn right at Davenport St, right at Village at the Park Dr  Parking is at the end of the street to your left.  

Additional parking on the west side of the park about 300 yards from starting line.

Where are the aid stations and Port a Potties going to be?  approx every 1.5 miles

  What parts of the course would be affected by an offshore breeze?
   Most likely the back part of the main loop ( leguna rd, Las Posas rd.)
