Camarillo Marathon, half, 5k 10k


150 Westpark CT, Camarillo CA 93012

​​Start at Village at the park soccer fields.  head east onto the Camarillo Bike path, Turn left onto the Camarillo Bike path all the way to Upland rd, turn around and head back the way you came out, head south still on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, Exit the bike path and right onto Pleasant Valley RD,  Left at Lewis RD to the turnaround point and back towards the finish line or start of loop two for the full marathon.  Average high temp in August: Click here

In order to ensure a smooth and consistent run, this race has implemented wave starts.

What is a wave start and how does it work?

Wave starts are designed to reduce race start congestion and improve your race day running experience.  In a wave start, runners start in groups at 2 minute intervals. This way you can run with others who are similar in speed.   A wave start will allow you plenty of space along the course, at the aid stations and at the finish line, without affecting your chip time or the time you have to complete the race.  On race day you will line up under / behind the banner that best fits your estimated running pace per mile, see chart below.

Start at Village at the park soccer fields.  head east onto the Camarillo Bike path, Turn left onto the Camarillo Bike path to about the one mile mark, turn around and head back the way you came out, head south still on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, to the 5k turnaround and head back to the finish line.  Please stay to the right of the bike path at all times.​
