Camarillo Marathon, Half, 5k 10k

150 Westpark CT, Camarillo CA 93012 ****  Race Start- Full-7am, half 7:15, 10k-7:30, 5k-7:45

Full marathon 4 loops of this course: Start at Village at the park soccer fields.  head east onto the Camarillo Bike path, Turn right onto the Camarillo Bike path to the designated turn around point for your race distance, turn around and head north still on the bike path towards Upland rd  and turn around  and back towards the main park entrance to the upper bike path LOOP TWO SIGN and start  your second loop.  At the end of your last loop you will run through the blue finish chute.  ​​​  Average high temp in August: Click here

In order to ensure a smooth and consistent run, this race has implemented wave starts.

What is a wave start and how does it work?

Wave starts are designed to reduce race start congestion and improve your race day running experience.  In a wave start, runners start in groups at 2 minute intervals. This way you can run with others who are similar in speed.   A wave start will allow you plenty of space along the course, at the aid stations and at the finish line, without affecting your chip time or the time you have to complete the race.  On race day you will line up under / behind the banner that best fits your estimated running pace per mile, see chart below.
