If I am not running can I participate by being a volunteer?
    YES...Volunteers are greatly appreciated and needed!   Please visit     the Volunteer Info link on this site to get all the information needed on being a volunteer.  Students please bring any volunteer hours verification forms you may have from your school. 

Will there be port-o-potties along the course?
  Yes: Porta Potties will be on the course about every 1.5 miles and at race start / finish line.  Industry standard says 1 unit per 150 people.  We always have 1 unit per 75 people.  Come early to avoid the pre race rush. 

Can I walk the course?
    Yes: you have 7  hours to finish the full marathon, that’s about 15 minutes plus per mile. Sooo... walkers are welcome, stroller moms, and walking clubs.

Is the course accurately measured and marked?
     Yes:   This is a USATF Certified coure.  and a Boston Qualifier.   Feel free to check it out on your own watch if you have time prior to the race.  There will be mile markers on the course.

When and where is and what is Packet pickup?
Saturday before the race- noon to 4 pm

This is where you pick up your race timing chip, race bib #, and race day t-shirt, ask your pre- race questions, check out the course map. 
This will be your last chance to register for this race, 

Can I register for the race at the packet pick-up location? 
     YES...You can register for the race at the packet pick-up we only accept cash or credit cards, NO CHECKS. You can also register on line or by sending in the registration form.  On line registration closes Friday at midnight.

Can I pick up my race packet on race day?? can pick up your race packet on race day, but we advise you to come early!!  There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time.  We advise you to go to the packet pick-up Saturday before race day instead.  Last minute check in on race day begins at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 6:45 a.m.  There is NO race day registration.

Can I pick up someone else's race items if they cannot make it out on Saturday ? can pick up a friend or relatives items bring a note from them signed by them that you are picking up thier number.   

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
    Yes... Just send us an e-mail to and we will workout the details.  DO NOT give your number to anyone else and let them run in your place,  they will be disqualified.

Will there be awards given out to the race winners?
     YES...Awards will be given out to the top 3 male/ female finishers overall and 3 deep in each age group.  AND We will have some other cool swag for everyone else at the post race bib number call out. I randomly call out bib numbers and if you are still there you get whatever I am handing out at that time.

When will results be posted?
 Race results will be posted as follows:
5k preliminary results will be posted at approx.  8:15 a.m ish
10k  preliminary results will be posted at approx. 8:30 a.m. ish 
Half Marathon - 9:00 ish

Is there a refund policy for this race?
     Sorry but no...there are no refunds!  But you can defer your entry to another one of our races in the future.  Please visit our main page at 

I don’t know the course should I just follow someone?
            NO:  All athletes are required to know the entire course prior to stepping onto the starting line.  We have course monitors all along the course and at every major turn.
